Yellow Peril

"From August 22-October 26, 2008, the Faulconer Gallery at Grinnell College will exhibit Return of the Yellow Peril: A Survey of the Work of Roger Shimomura, 1969–2007. Shimomura, a contemporary Japanese American artist, creates work in a variety of media that explore themes of identity, biculturalism and American history, particularly the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II.
