Actor and activist Natalie Portman is now confirmed as a panelist also. Come out and see this inspiring film and hear from this all-star lineup of experts and activists.
Sounds cool. However, the fact that it is on a Thursday might be a bit schedule conflict for me... Thanks for sharing
Mrs. Green... OK, so I kinda have a delimma. I just got my IWB... so yeah!; I have that. But, there was kind of a large gap between my old IWB and my new one in terms of dates... I've been keeping up with the pages, just doing them on a separate blank white paper... I'm going to transfer all of this into my new IWB, but should I date the pages with when I do them this weekend or from when I did them on the separate white paper; otherwise there would be a large gap and it would make it look like I did all my pages in one weekend... please help :)
Great Mirza! Where did you find it? Either way is fine. I would suggest using the dates on the separate white paper though so you do not have a large gap in dates.
hahaha Brenna and I got the last two at Michael's! It was funny because she called me right afterwards to tell me and get the last one after she already got hers... Needless to say, I was relieved :)
Nice work! I spoke with The Art Store and apparently the person I sent things up with at the beginning of the year no longer works there so we fell through the cracks. I am going in today to speak with the new person and let her know our needs. They were very apologetic. I am going to tell them that most of you will be in at the beginning of each semester for a new all media book which I want them to have in stock. Let's hope that works! Remember when you do go at the beginning of the semester you get 15% OFF when you tell them you are an Academy student.
You are able to get CAS hours for attending A Powerful Noise LIVE. Contact Mr. Voss if you have any questions.
I ordered 15 IWBs at the Art Store today. They should be in Tue or Wed. They will call me and I will you know. I have arranged (again) for them to order IWB in June, Aug and Dec. Let's hope it works this time!!!
this has nothing to do with the "powerful noise" post, but i wanted to leave my artist statement here in case g-mail is being fickle again.
My filter for this project is relationships. I explored a theory proposing that girls are attracted to men like their fathers, while men are attracted to women like their mothers. I neither refute nor agree with this theory. It might be true that it is easier to find companionship in familiarity, but there is definite deviation from this pattern all over the world. In my piece I chose to just present the theory via images, and I am not proposing any particular standpoint on the issue.
